XTM Performance HydroVENT technology keeps our garments waterproof and breathable in the harshest conditions. Treated with a PFAS-Free DWR coating to help repel water droplets from the surface of the fabric. We choose to avoid any hazardous per- and polyfluorinated chemicals (PFASs) in our fabric water-repellent finishes. PFASs are leading to contamination of the local environment, including surface water, drinking water, groundwater as well as air and dust. HydroVENT20+ technology is engineered with a Waterproof/Breathability rating of: 20,000mm / 20,000g/m² PFAS-free durable water repellent.
MerinoLite® is Natures ultimate insulation. Comprising of a specially constructed wadding made from 50% Australian Merino wool and 50% coarse wool, MerinoLite® is an incredibly lightweight performance insulation layer. MerinoLite® provides superior warmth and breathability, even in the harshest conditions. Because of the nature of Australian Merino Wool, MerinoLite® will keep you warm even if wet. MerinoLite® is also the most environmentally friendly form of insulation as it is 100% renewable, it is sustainable and biodegradable in a relatively short period.

The Ryker adds MerinoLite® thermal body mapping to its insulation, placing natural merino warmth where you actually lose heat rather than spreading synthetic fill evenly across the jacket. That sits inside a stretch recycled polyester shell with a PFAS-free DWR finish and HydroVENT20+ waterproofing to 20,000mm, with 80g/sqm of insulation through the body and 60g/sqm through the sleeves and fully taped seams to keep it weathertight. An adjustable, helmet-compatible hood with removable faux fur and a removable, adjustable powder skirt handle the elements, while internal Lycra cuffs with a thumb hole and a mesh media pocket with a built-in goggle wipe are the small details that add up over a season.
