Handle your merino wool thermals with care. Generally you want to give them a gentle hand wash in cool water or throw them into a gentle cycle. As always, check the specific care instructions on your garment before throwing them in the wash. If you treat ‘em right, they’ll keep you comfy for seasons to come.
To protect your wool products from moths and beetles, it's essential to keep them clean as pests are less attracted to laundered items. Store them in airtight containers or vacuum-sealed bags to prevent infestation. You can also spray your garments with lavender oil and/or use cedar hanger and cedar balls as a natural deterrent (forget old-school moth balls - they smell awful and are poisonous!) Regularly inspect your stored woollens and avoid leaving them on the floor to reduce the risk of carpet beetle damage.
