Frequently Asked Questions

Are heated socks worth it?

Heated socks are absolutely worth it, my chilly-footed friend. They are especially worth it if you are someone who struggles with relentlessly cold feet on the slopes. Isn’t it worth investing in something that will have you riding from first to last chair in all-day comfort?

Are hiking socks necessary?

When it comes to getting out amongst the great outdoors, proper gear can make all the difference in your performance and comfort. Hiking socks are specially designed with moisture-wicking and cushioning materials to keep your feet dry, comfy and blister-free on even the longest hikes. So in short, yes, we think hiking socks are necessary.

Do you need warm socks for skiing?

It’s important to choose warm socks for skiing, but you don’t want to sacrifice fit for fluff. A snug-fitting sock can mean the difference between a day of shredding and a day of nursing blisters.

Thick socks can be tempting but too much bulk can actually lead to colder feet and cut off circulation. Instead, opt for a slim moisture-wicking sock (anything Merino is perfect) that will keep your feet dry. If that doesn’t do the job, consider investing in some heated socks for long-lasting toasty toes.
