Great technical shell

I have tried this jacket in southern Chile , Corralco Mountain ski resort to be precise, for 10 days so far this winter. We have windy and mid wet conditions most of the time (similar to australian weather I assume). I ski about 50 days during winter and I have been a a ski mountaineering pro for the last 10 years. The Palladium es just a great jacket. Dermizax material works as well as the best top of the line membrane in the market (3 layer gore-tex). Pockets are int he right place to spend a day skiing at the resort or ski touring. Vents and zippers work well as well. The shell finish is super nice, waterproof as expected for this class of jacket, light and soft (not too rigid as some other shells). Hood fits the helment inside with no problem. I am 178 cms tall and I wear size L (I can wear 2 layers under the shell with no problem and also wear it without any layer). Bottom line: great top of the line shell with the right features for skiing in the resort and in the backcountry with no compromises. Super happy :)
